1953 Magnatone Lyric non-pedal T8 - $900

Post by Danny Peters »

Hey, gang,

I am trying to sell a 1953 Magnatone Lyric non-pedal T8. It has no problems, other than a case with a bit of wear.

I've only tried Craigslist (Austin and San Marcos, Texas) because I didn't want to deal with shipping, but that hasn't worked so far, so now I'm considering eBay.

Any opinions, inquiries, or other information would be appreciated.

Am I asking too high a price do you think? If I were to put this on eBay, what would be a reasonable reserve?

Here's a D8 that went for < 400$...

I'd recommend starting at $400... auctions with high reserves never get started. There's another D8 on eBay right now that's come down from 700 to 600... still no activity. At $900, you're getting awful near Stringmaster territory.

This is to correctly identify the 3 neck Magnatone. It is a Magnatone Maestro
