David,

So sorry to hear this....Love and prayers to your entire family......Are there really any words available to help ease the pain of a broken heart? I wish I knew what to say.

Watching you play this past year in Dallas and knowing what I remember about your Pop, I believe seeing you carry on with his love of steel guitars with so much natural talent was no doubt the sparkle in his eye. To see his son carry on with his love of steel guitars and seeing your musical life flourish....well love doesn't get any deeper than that. Its about passing on the best we have to our children and he certainly experienced that gift of love with you.

Big hug,

Paul

David, my sincere condolences to you in your loss. Of all the losses in our lives, our parents are the hardest to bear. I lost my dad from cancer 60 years ago...and I still miss him.

David,
Sorry to hear of your loss but know he is in a better place. I have been keeping up with the situation on FB for the past few days. I believe those of us who are fortunate enough to share the common bond of musicianship with our Dads have a unique and special relationship like no other.

My prayers and condolences to you my friend.

So sorry for your loss David. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time. I never met Chuck, but I know of his fine craftsmanship. No doubt my dad, Don, who passed 22 months ago, and Chuck are sitting at the “coffee” bar up there, swapping licks and discussing the mechanics of a finely crafted steel guitar, as my dad was a steel guitar builder also, until his stroke in ’86. We love you & Red! May God bless you!! Den & Peg Beaver
