Just got off the Phone with Butch Gardner..He is sending me free of charge a new Birthstone for the end of my Bar that got semi chiped away..I have had this bar for over 5 years and it plays and looks still brand new.. Thanks to all of you for the kind words. I don't spend as much time on the forum as maybe I should, and therefore just read this thread. I was fortunate to have Bill Stroud as a friend, and to now have the opportunity to carry on with this great product.

Customer Service is simple... My goal is to make you happy everytime, all the time. Sometimes I may fail, but that is my goal and challenge. We seldom get second chances.

I've been using BJS bars exclusively since 1988, the first year I met Bill Stroud. I won't retell all the many stories of the great things Bill has done for me and my colleagues, because all of us who have dealt with Bill and BJS could easily do the same.

I am relieved that Butch is carrying on the legacy of such a fine human being as Bill Stroud. The steel community should be happy, as I know Bill is happy right now.
