Just got off the Phone with Butch Gardner..He is sending me free of charge a new Birthstone for the end of my Bar that got semi chiped away..I have had this bar for over 5 years and it plays and looks still brand new.. It is flawless and I wouldn't play anything else.. I just wanted to draw attention to Butches wonderfull product and his dedication to customer service within our Steel players community.. Great Service!

Post by Carl Williams »

Just ordered a 1" BJS John Hughey bar this past week and Butch's customer service was the way I like to do business. On top of that, the bar arrived earlier than expected. This is my second brand new BJS bar and the quality is as always, outstanding! Bill's legacy of fine customer service/quality live on for sure! Thanks Butch...Carl

Thanks to all of you for the kind words. I don't spend as much time on the forum as maybe I should, and therefore just read this thread. I was fortunate to have Bill Stroud as a friend, and to now have the opportunity to carry on with this great product.

Customer Service is simple... My goal is to make you happy everytime, all the time. Sometimes I may fail, but that is my goal and challenge. We seldom get second chances.

The BAR!!!

Post by Bill L. Wilson »

Butch and BJS bars are top notch, he even put my testimony and picture on his website. I'm the one he had to label, you'll recognize the other real steel players. Best BAR I've ever used!!!

B J S Bars

Post by Lee Johnson »

I am proud to be a friend of Butch Gardner's ,, I was Bill Stroud's old partner, and I miss him. Butch has not only kept the great BJS bar going ,but has also shown his ability to continue this great product. Butch has the greatest steel guitar Bar on the market. I am very proud to continue to assist Butch, in whatever way I can, in helping him to continue supplying all steel players with that Great steel Bar he makes. The One and only ( BJS ) bar. Thanks for your continued support. Lee.

I've been using BJS bars exclusively since 1988, the first year I met Bill Stroud. I won't retell all the many stories of the great things Bill has done for me and my colleagues, because all of us who have dealt with Bill and BJS could easily do the same.

I am relieved that Butch is carrying on the legacy of such a fine human being as Bill Stroud. The steel community should be happy, as I know Bill is happy right now.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

I just got a shipment of strings and a bar from Butch. He took time to talk with me about different string options, and got the package sent out quickly. I love the bar, and will certainly buy from him again. He seems like a great guy.

Thanks, Butch!

You can't beat Butch for service and really good guy to deal with. Ask him about his sax playing in the 70s.

I've had mine for at least fifteen years and it looks virtually new. Best metal bar I've ever used, by a long way.

PS their also good for wadding them up in your fist and punching Hook More in the jaw, when he gets a little unruley
