1965 Fender Bandmaster

Post by Jim Mathis »

My dad bought this amp new in 1965. He used it a few years before he let my brother and me have it. We each used it a few times, but mostly it has been setting around. I replaced the 2-12" speakers with Celestion G12T-75s a few years ago. It has new filter caps and Sovtek 6L6s. All hardware is original.

Serial # A09961. Model AB763. This is probably the nicest, most original Blackface Bandmaster around. Sounds great. Asking $1600 + shipping.

I will deliver in Kansas, Oklahoma, or Missouri. Jim@MathisPhoto.net

I still have the Bandmaster. Would somebody like to make an offer?

Man, that's a beauty! Wish I had the do-re-me.

I used this Bandmaster on a gig last week and was amazed at how good it sounds. Probably a lot like a Twin from the same vintage but with more low end. I used a Alesis Microverb and it was just right. I still want to sell it. I am considering offers.
