jam session
It was explained to me a long time ago, that a jam session is for professionals and amateur night is apparently where your trouble lies. Somebody is confused!!
I worked with a guy who indeed had a Jam Rules sheet and all the jammers had to read and sign it. If they broke the rules, their plug was pulled. We didn't want some clown running off our $alary.
