Has anyone used an Egnator Rebel 30 amp for steel?

I am looking at buying one of these to use as a guitar amp, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it with a steel?
The clean channel is bright with heaps of headroom, something I miss with the PV112.

Our guitar player just bought the Renegade a few months back, he had a cabnet made to match the head and put his choice of speakers in it, he loves it with his tele. He offered to let me try my steel through it but havnt done it yet but i would guess steel would prob sound good through it.
