I had more fun playing last night in Uvalde, Tx. than I've had in a long, long time. I worked with Darrell McCall, Mona McCall, Curtis Potter, Tony Booth, Frenchie Burke, Ken Garrett and Mike Siler. This was a semi private party where everyone could just relax and play for fun. Tony, Darrel and Curtis really got into having fun and all played bass on some of their songs. The band consisted of Ron Knuth and John Schattenburg on Fiddle, Jim Cleckler on Bass, Rocco Fortunato on Drums. Mark Bucannon on Rythm Guitar and vocals. Frenchie did his high energy show and Mike, Mona and Ken all did great. Darrell, Curtis and Tony did a lot of their songs from their CD "The Survivors" The three part harmony was out of this world. What a great opportunity to live in Texas and to be able to work with this kind of talent. Country music is still alive in Texas. Ya Hoo. Very Happy Very Happy

There must have been some Faron Young stories told that night. Darrell McCall, Ron Knuth, and John Schattenburg were Country Deputies.

Yeah Diane,

You can count on Darrell for some good stories!

Hey Ernie,

I missed you too. I could only be there on friday. I had an early gig in La Grange on Saturday. About 4.5 hours away. I soaked up all I could on Friday.
