Stephen, you the man! Thank you so much for bringing your camera, and along with your rockin' single-neck steel playing! Appreciate all the work you're putting into uploading these videos. Great-looking videos for a great-sounding combo! |

Its a tight angle but that looks like one of the 8 string laps made by the Austin luthier whos' name eludes me, ( John Allison maybe ? ) think he had a couple on a stall in Dallas, vintage vibe single coils maybe, tried googling Austin luthiers but he didnt show, c'mon google, wake up, sure he'd like a name check, nice work tho Stephen. |

Howard
I will do my utmost to bring some spasm of my non-pedal playing to the no-feet-allowed room next year, if the good Lord's willin' and the creeks don't rise.
And the creeks ain't been rising in Texas much the last couple of years, so there's a good chance you'll see me sometime during that weekend.
Kevin
The guitar I'm playing in the videos is in fact an Allison guitar, and a link to the Allison website is found directly below my signature on the bottom of this very post. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

I second Rose's appreciation of Mr. Stephen Cowell's rocking steel abilities. That was a cool set. The guy rides a Harley D. and plays a mean steel guitar. Thanks for the video posts as well. What a great time!!! _________________ Tribo-Toneā¢ Bars |

Thanks, Kevin! Yes, of course, they're Allison guitars... the next video

shows Herb talking about them. |

Bump for some great videos of Herb Steiner on steel and Floyd Domino on piano, Karen Biller on drums, and Charlie Irwin on bass. This took place at the Austin Steel Guitar Co-op monthly jam on April 8.
Check these out! |

... and thank *you*, Eric, for your encouragement, and those slippery bars you provide. Folks, if you don't have or belong to a local co-op, you are missing out. |
