All the press release said was that the eligible candidates had to make a significant contribution to Texas music. That pretty much means anybody to me.

But bear in mind, the decisions are made by the Gang of Twelve. So that gives folks a whole new group of people to complain about when their personal heroes don't make the cut in the first year. :lol:
