I`m happy to say I`ll be playing Saturday,March 24 with Mark Heffington and Zuma at this great venue. We`ll be performing a set of Mark`s originals and a few well-chosen covers at 8 P.M.,followed by our special guest, young blues guitar phenom Chase Walker. We`ll end with a anything-can-happen final set with some invited guests too important to mention by name(I didn`t say important to whom).Besides Mark and myself, the band is Tami Vasquez on vocals and percussion,Ray Charles Aguilar on bass and vocals, and Los Lobos drummer Cougar Estrada.Taste of Texas is at 545 N. Citrus in Beautiful Downtown Covina, and was recently called "the only real Tejano place in town" by the L.A. Weekly`s Pulitzer Prize winning food critic Jonathan Gold.Come down and check us out!
