My first performance on the steel guitar. Moscow

Post by Alexander Stepanenko »

March 8, I played a small compartment at the concert my friend in Moscow club.Together with my guitar player, we performed 6 songs.
I played on the Fender Deluxe 8(1960)and on the amp Fender bluse deluxe(new). Used amp spring reverb only.
The bass and drums of the Band box.
Here are some fragments of our performance.

Good to hear players getting out there and enjoying themselves.

Nice job, Alex. Your intonation and feel are right on. I like the tone, too.

Nice Job ALIX, The Steel guitar and it's players are good Ambasiders, for who doesent enjoy the music no mater where in the world it comes from. The FORUM is the place where every one can practice and discuss legalized steeling, be it Pedal or Lap.

Sounds Great! The band I play with, Wylie and the Wild West, will be playing in Moscow on March 27th at the Spaso-House as a part of our 10 day Russian tour. It would be great to see another non pedaler in russia!

Thanks, but Spaso house-the residence of the American Ambassador in Moscow...In this building just like that is not allowed. Thomas,I would love to come to you at the concert. Very interesting to listen to you. But I think this problem is usually such events are held for the employees of the Embassy and the citizens of America.
