Buds Bash
I was in Yuma Arizona over the weekend with the Mel Tillis show, and had the honor of getting to talk to Bud and Jerri and Noki Edwards and Donna.
This party is to honor the man responsible for the pedal steel in country music. For $5.00 you not only get lunch but you get to shake hands and talk to Mr. Bud Issacs. Just to shake hands and get your picture taken with him is more than worth the price of admission. Ask him about His and Chet Atkins album together on RCA records, incredible story.
I wish I could be there for the party but I just got back and I have other committments. Otherwise I would be on a plane headed back to Yuma for Mr. Steel Guitar's 84th birthday bash,
Everybody go and have a great time, and tell Bud and Jerri Terry Bethel sent you,

Less than 2 weeks away. We are looking for donations from vendors for the silent auctions that will be going on. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. Maybe some steel guitar shirts, strings, etc. Bud is not aware that this is a surprise party and Geri isn't telling him until he shows up. Should be a great time!!!
