This song is played on my old 1965 Hofner Guitar, made in Bavaria, Germany. I have always liked the tone of this Guitar and now given it a new life as a Lap Steel by raising the Nut.
The Gadget you see perched on the soundboard is my Stereo Digital Recorder which I use for all my recordings. For those interested the tuning I use here is CEGCGC from high to low.

Hope you all enjoy.

Nice song. I wonder about the tuning,How did you get a high C on the first string and what gage strings?

Very nice, James -- I've enjoyed all of your videos, and this one is a favorite -- great sound out of that wonderful old box.

Is that echo introduced by laying the recorder on top of the soundbox ?
