Today I'm headed to Big Spring Texas to rejoin Jody Nix and the Texas Cowboys. Back to playing Shuffles, ballads, waltzes and western swing again. I will miss playing with Gene Watson, but I will not miss the four day bus rides to work one show.

Good deal Johnny. I played some shows with Nathan Stanley last year and he a had show booked with Gene and I was looking forward to talking steel and listening to your playing but, it got canceled. Do you play any E13 these days ? I remember you having it on the Triple neck Zum.
