I was at this show and there was a gentleman there playing lead guitar (not Roger Miller). This gentleman was playin a Fender Telecaster and was using some type of electronic to make his tele sound exactly like a fiddle.
Can anyone tell me what setup he uses to accomplish that?..... not exactl a steel question but thought someone in the steel world may know since it was up there at the dairyland show that we heard this. Thanks |

That is easy Brad. The fellow was Steve Nelson and he has a guitar synth. He will be there again this year and you will probably hear that mystery fiddle again. He works with me in the Heartland Country Band. |

You are lucky to have him in your band,,, the guy is an awsome musician for sure. Going to try to make it back up again this year to the show. Had a great time the year before, but couldn't fit it in last year. Maybe, I can drag Mark K. along. Thanks for the fiddle info. |

What are you saying Brad, I'm not a gentleman? Well I never..............! Yep that was Stevie. He can really make that Synth sound great, don't let me use one of those contraptions. |
