I received this today (takes awhile to get to Canada) and I cannot tell you how delighted I am.
Very professionally done.
Even though I play C6 pedal, I have been wanting to study the non-pedal for two reasons. One, to learn the neck better, and for the portability of a lap steel.
Doug...I thank you...wonderful stuff.

Doug - the book and CDs are outstanding. I now have many of the songs memorized and my playing is improving daily. I took 2 years of lessons on the six sting Lap Steel in the early 50s (Clyde Meadows was my teacher in Fort Worth), but laid the steel down for the standard when the Rock & Roll era started in the 50s. I bought a Morrell Pro 8 String and recently picked it up at the young age of 70. Your course has helped me greatly. I do plan on purchasing a PSG in the near future. I hope to get to jam with my long time friend Owen Barnes who is also a Forum member. Thanks!

Many Thanks
Doug,
First off many thanks for how quickly you sent my "course". Arrived within two days of placing my order. Second really impressed with it, and sure hope that eventually I will be able to play a tenth as well as you do. In a way I sort of feel that I ordered a "paint by numbers kit" and then find out that it was put together by Rembrandt. Any way thanks again.

Thanks James! Yes, the next book is about 80% completed, and "Ghost Riders" is in the book. I included the solo, very similar to the solo on the video, but a slightly easier version. 25 songs in all. The tab is all written and 19 of the tunes are recorded, so I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel! Been working on it for a year. It should be completed in a couple of months. Thanks again!

Doug, I have already listened to those. I meant actual videos to be used along with your book. For example, when I buy your tab to "Ghost Riders", watching you actually play it will be a considerable aid.
I was just suggesting making youtube videos for all of the tabbed songs as part of the package.

Doug:
I agree with James that YouTube videos of the songs in your books would be nice but I think that you should be compensated for your time, effort and knowledge. (Having one or two "freebies" on YouTube is a good marketing tool, showing people a sample of what you are selling.)
Just my thoughts...

P.S. Your first book (w CD's) is great- I can't wait to see the second!
