Great Western Swing

Post by Phil Johnson »

This may be old news to some of you guys, but I just purchased (on a whim) a CD by the Feral Swing Katz. The album is entitled "Round 3". Wow, I really like this music! This is the first time that I have heard this group and I plan to get more soon. I definitely recommend this CD to everyone on the forum. I found my copy at cdbaby.com

They are a great band and nice people too.
I think Michel the steel player is a member here,
and do him and Stuie French, the guitar player,
ever do wonderful twin stuff as well

These guys are a highly respected band over here in Australia.
All the players are world class. Michel Rose is the steel player and he's Australias busiest session steel player and for good reason.
Stuart French is the guitarist and he can play western swing like a crazy tihng.

They're great.

They are some of the best. I saw them at Scotty's steel show in St. Louis a few years back, & they stole the show. I have three of their CDs.

Glad to see a post from you, Mr. Volkaert. You're one of my favorite tele pickers!
