Weldon on Ernest Tubb Record Store with new Justice
I talked to Fred the other day and he told me that Weldon will be playing that new Justice guitar on the Ernest Tubb Record Store Saturday night. It can be seen live by logging on the sight and following the instructions to get to the live show. I cant wait to hear how that new guitar sounds with a master behind it. I love my guitar that Fred built for me. He's one of the best builders on the planet. I hope I did'nt get any information wrong. Dont know the exact time but I think its around 7 or 8 pm. I didnt get permission from Fred to post this so I hope I'm not in trouble. Tootie Serice.

Hey Tootie, you know when you called the other day to wish Brenda and myself a happy Thanksgiving, I wish you'd told me to not try and eat the whole turkey.
Tootie the date on that event your speaking of is Saturday, December the 10th, at 12:00 Midnight, and Weldon will be playing with Leona Williams along with my friend Pat Coyne on bass, and I think Jan Jones on drums.
I hope I'm smart enough to get it dialed in on the internet myself.
That's the Earnest Tubb Record Shop, Midnight Jamboree.

OK, I just talked to Steve at the Earnest Tubb Record Shop and he confirmed the Midnight Jamboree is aired live on their website at Midnight Saturday's central time. Yee Haa
I also just spoke with Weldon and he will be playing tonight at the White Bluff Community Center just on the out skirts of Nashville. Starts at 7:00 PM., That's tonight.

Hey Tootie, not to worry Son, I make worse mistakes than that just putting my shoes on every morning.
I did get that website all dialed in so I can watch it on Dec. 10th. Take care my friend.

Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree featuring Leona Williams
As of now, the band members are: Drums-Randy Mason,
Bass-Pat Coyne, Rhythm-Jimmy Capps, Piano-Terry Duncan, Fiddle-Hank Singer, Lead Guitar-Leon Rhodes, Steel Guitar-Weldon Myrick---HEY! That's me! That's when I woke up and I'm glad I did because, I dearly love to pick with Leona Williams. She had been solid country all of her life and proud of it and I'm proud of it. Tune us in if you can and maybe you can hear what "not to do" on the steel guitar.

Paul,I'll admit right off the bat here that I'm not too computer smart.
But what I found is, when you click on the "Watch The Live Video Broadcast" nothing will happen cause nothing is being aired till Saturday night at 12:00 P.M central time.
You can however watch the one's that are archived.
I hope this helps.

I have been asked to let everyone know that Weldon will not be able to play on The Midnite Jamboree tonight, the doctor has requested (against Weldon's wishes) that since everything seems to be okay, "let's not push things too much"...so Russ Hicks will be doing the honors of playing steel guitar tonight. Just as with Connie Smith, Russ replaced Weldon....there seems to be a pattern here. : ) We will miss our buddy tonight but be assured there will be many more playing events soon.
