Gospel Steel Player / Bass Guitar

I am retired now and would like to play steel or Bass Guitar for a Country / Southern Gospel Group that is playing a busy schedule on a full time basis . From what I can tell a large number of gospel acts are relying on that kroakie stuff, and useing no band whatsoever. They recently had a well known gosple group sing here and they had a stack of Karoakie tapes and cds with them that would sink a bass boat.
Someday those folks that paid to get in these shows will relized they could of saved there money and played the cd at home.

Bobby i like the way you think my friend . I remember way back when===most all the groups had a good backup band and most had a steel player also . At one time i worked with some great Southern Gospel Groups myself . Oh by the way i havn't forgotten your promise to take me fishing when the trout are looking for a fryin pan ! :lol: Hope to see you guys at the jam this Saturday , we are looking to have a great Christmas dinner also .
