I am going to be in Nashville on buisness on Wed, Thurs, and Friday of next week. Nov 16,17,18. I was hoping to catch the Time Jumpers but they don't play while I'm in town. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Tim...I don't know what the schedule is but at Douglas Corner many Wednesdays Mike and Joanie Johnson are there . Mike is the steel man on Country Family reunion and Joanie Keller sings as well as you'd want to hear . Douglas is on 8th St South {I think} but that's your best bet beside the other suggested venues . Mike's history is Mel Street and Bill Anderson . Keep in touch .

I'm picking at the Music City Bar and Grill over by Opryland Hotel Wed nights from 10:30 till 2. Randy Mason, Keith Nixon on Vocals Billy Johnson on bass and Rick Wright on guitar. We do all PG country. On 5th & Broadway Mike Siler and the Short Notice Band at Legends from 6 PM till 10. Rusty Danmyer on steel, twin fiddles good country there too.

Friday nights I'm out in Gallatin at the Whipporill with the Parks, Good country and great food. There from 9 till midnight.

Is there any quality honky tonk w/ steel going on at Gabe's Lounge or The Broken Spoke (Nashville) these days? Used to enjoy bouncing between the two of them in the '90s. I know they were "down" for a while, curious if one or both have come back "up."

I used to be in Nashville a couple times a year, I moved in 2007, and haven't been getting over there recently.
