A friend loaned me a Session 400 in hopes that I would purchase it. Its a good sounding amp, but there is an issue that when I turn up the reverb anywhere past zero it makes a bunch of electronic humming noise and then at about three, a shrill high pitched very loud feedback. At the zero the amp operates perfectly, no hum our noise. Tank? Electronics? Any help would be appreciated...

check the connectors on the pan.. clean them or twist them around a little.. it's an older amp...they get dirty
Someone asked me the other night why his BRAND NEW amp hummed and made noise when he turned the reverb all the way up.. He is a green as grass harmonica player..

My LTD had issues like that. I swapped send and return and it got much better. Then I got a Holy Grail.
