They use a 9 volt battery, has anybody converted one over to use a 9 volt power source? If so where did you get the little female plug for it?

Never tried and don't really know if you can just apply a walwart power source to the battery leads. Here is a great source of electronic parts:

Radio Shack sells 9V battery connectors with leads. Just hook them up backwards so that when you mirror the males and females, the polarity works

Richard, the battery life in an L10 is usually a year or more if you don't leave cables plugged in when not in use.

I don't remember which is which and I'm driving a truck at the moment without a 9V battery. If the red is hot going into the box, then using 9v leads in lieu of power connectors would need you to have black being hot in the lead coming out of the wallwart. That way they'll snap together.
I'm powering my Grail this way after a power connector failed at a gig. It's ugly, but it wurx, and is safe.

| Yea, I'm thinking the outside circumference on a wallwart plug is the hot lead so going into my pedal I would tap into the red lead or the +? |

The positive is usually marked on the wire. I'd recommend verification by multimeter.
I don't recall which is which, either on a battery, a wallwart, or an adapter. I do know I got it wrong the first time I tried. Fortunately most box makers diode-protect their power input.
EDIT: I wouldn't count on Goodrich having done this. If you're not sure, try powering a Boss or EHX with it. I know those can take reverse power with no ill effect

| I have used old 9V batteries and taken them apart to get the connectors. All you need is to connect the wires. The plus is marked on the battery and is the small stud, so just make a mental note of that. |

Wow. That's either dedication or desperation
Radio Shack only charges $3.50 for a pack of 5 with about 2.5" of lead on them.

Got it and sounds like it will work fine, I won't have to worry about unplugging it on breaks or whenever. I tried to kill that bug with my thumb, all I did was smear my computer window. Ha

| the batteries in mine last for years. i don't unplug on breaks. the walwart would be a huge pain in the butt fot this application. |
