Space Echo - Rolad RE-201 tape echo (the real one) minty!

Post by Justin Douglas »

Selling my RE-201 space echo. This is the real tape delay and spring reverb effect and it's in really nice condition. Absolutely everything works, and it even comes with the original accessories, including:

- laminated instruction manual
- original cleaning kit (see pics) with instructions (in Japanese!)
- original vinyl dust cover/carrying cover (not pictured)

This one's as clean as they come and super rare with all the accessories.

$695 + shipping. Local sale in Central TX is cool too.

Thanks gang!

They ARE amazing. Best tape echo I have ever had the chance to play with. I wish I had the cash!

Tape Echo

Didn't Bruce Bouton use one of these back in the days of Ricky Skaggs and Hwy 40 Blues?

Not really looking for trades on this one sorry. Wish I could keep it but I've got 3 tape echos at the studio right now and wife and I need new phones, so sadly it's gotta go.

This is easily the best space echo I've ever come across. From rockabilly slapback to crazy dotted eighth and triplet madness it does it all and then some.
