| I recently purchased an old Dekley S-10. I am able to attach the rods to the underside of the guitar but don't know where to connect them on the pedals. Thanks. |

Can you clarify your problem a bit? And also version/year made?
A Dekley is as easy to set up as any PSG. I've got 3, an the image below shows my S10...
You may need parts specifically made for your Dekley. Look here whether you need more parts or not, as knowing the "name" for specific parts you have, or do not have, may help sorting out your problems and lead to solutions. |

Your picture is of the wrong end. She had problems figuring out how to connect rod to pedal. Does Dekley use zerks?
I'd offer suggestions, but I don't see Dekleys that often and I've forgotten |

| The rods have 180 degree ball joints on one end. There is a small hole through the back end of the pedal which runs from side to side. I have no idea how the ball joint is supposed to attach there. Thanks. |

| I think I may have figured it out. There are pegs toward the back of the pedal. When I pushed the ball joint down on the end of the rod, a slot appeared so I slipped the ball joint onto the peg. I hope that will do the job. Any other suggestions? Thanks! |

| I think you may have it. On the ends of the rods are those little barrels with the sleeves. Slide the sleeves towards the guitar and you'll reveal the hole that the ball on the pedal slips into. |

Thanks, Lane. I found it by accident! Whew! I still can't hook up the third pedal, though. I bought the guitar used, and it arrived with three rods but only two ball joints. I ordered another one so hopefully I'll be good to go soon. If I can find a good beginner program.
I hate it when instructors say "you JUST do this and then you JUST do that! I JUST don't get what they are JUST trying to tell me to JUST do. I JUST want to hit someone!
I need a program that starts something like this: "This is your pedal steel guitar. These are your frets. Etc., Etc.! Do you know anything like that? |

I find it ironic that it was a couple of banjo pickers that literally wrote the book on playing the instrument
As long as the balls are on the A and B pedals (the A pedal moves strings 5 and ten, the C pedal moves 4 and 5), you don't need to wait for the other one to arrive because you can do a lot with just A and B |
