BJ Wright

Post by Gere Mullican »

Just got a call from BJ Wright's sister in law that BJ passed away this morning. He was like a brother to me and I will miss him dearly. He played bass with Hank Snow for many years and with Justin Tubb for a long time after that.

...........and also a great buddy of mine, I was on tour with him and Hank a lot in my early days in Nashville. BJ was solid fun to be around, I'll always remember him with a big smile. A very nice person that made everyones playing job a lot easier.

Proud to have known him and got to call him a friend.

This is sad news. BJ was a good friend, and so much fun to be around. My condolences to the family.
