Justin-
I can't remember seeing a LH Mullen but I haven't seen every Mullen ever made, either;it couldn't hurt to drop Mike Mantey (Mullen sales guy and a real gent!) an E and ask. He's on the SGF,so maybe he'll see this thread and chime in.
I have 2 Mullen steels and I'm thoroughly happy with both of them. :D :D

I am left handed too

Post by Joe Naylor »

When someone gets on here or I hear someone tell some one that is left handed to just go right handed I get upset.

I started playing lap steel at 6 years old and was not told any difference - then 6 string too. Still not good at either BUT I have wondered several times if I could have been better had I played left handed.

One day at Desert Rose's shop several years ago in Tuscon there were 7 guys standing around - Chuck and I working and talking when one said that he noticed that Chuck and I were left handed. We shortly found out that 6 out of the 7 were left handed and all steel players and most also played guitar and / or bass.

Remember this -"All people are born Right Handed some of us just over come it" - :D

They are right Pedal Master has built over a hundred but I think most all builders offer Left Handed Steels - (I know a few do not but just call the builders)

Oh by the way I make Left Handed steelseats - someone started a funny thread on here as an April Fools Joke and I sent him a photo of a Left Handed seat (SideKar on the other side) - we had a laugh about that.
