Thanks From The Sweeneys!

Post by Mike Sweeney »

Teresa and I would like to thank Scotty, Mary, the rest of the Scott family and all those who work so hard to put this show on for having us back this year. It was great to see Jay Dee Maness, who played a nearly flawless set. He was a hard act to follow. Playing in the Jazz Room is always a treat for me. We always look forward to seeing the friends we have made over the years. I realize you can't please everybody, but if more people would actually spend time in the ballroom listening to the guys who are doing their best to put on a good show for the crowd, there might be a lot less complaining. As long as Scotty will have me back, I'm going to be there! Thanks again to everyone involved.

Mike, it was great seeing you and Terisa. Let me know when you're playing in Illinois, if I have the opportunity, I'll come out and hear you. You sounded great at the convention, as always. You just keep gettin' better and better.
