Telephone/Computer scam

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but just in case, I thought I would warn you.

I have had a couple of phone calls from a guy who says he is from my ISP and has detected that I downloaded a virus. He can get rid of the virus if I link onto his site and he will take control of my computer and clean it for me.
The first time I asked him who my ISP was. He hung up.
The second time I asked him if many people were stupid enough to fall for this....He hung up.
