What a wonderful man with an equally wonderful spirit! Our prayers continue now for Shirley and the rest of Bill's family.

It's a sad day.

Rest In Peace Bill....

This is really sad news.

I have just this minute returned home from a gig, checked in on the forum to hear this sad news.

Bill has been to me, a steel guitar Dad.

I have been in regular contact with him during the last few months.

I will really miss him.

My thoughts are with Shirley and his family at this time..

This is very sad. I didn't know Bill well, but we met a few times at St. Louis or Dallas. He impressed me as a man of great integrity.

Let us hope and pray that they find a cure for this terrible disease soon.
