1953 Bigsby T8 Pedal Steel

Post by Mike Black »

1953 Bigsby T8 Pedal Steel
Built for Bob Black. 6 pedals, 5 original 1 added later. Original finish is flaked, scratched, singed, etc. It’s not beautiful, not bad , just typical of a guitar that was used for 58 years. 1 handle was replaced with an identical, but new, one. The broken one is included. Original ash tray with added original style liner, neck switches, tuners, Pup’s, string covers, knobs, pots, legs, pedal rack, and 5 rods. I think Chuck Wright had this guitar in the mid 50’s and added the pedal and parts, and headstock covers. Non- original wood case with the original blue lining and divider from the spent original case. Cut out switch added but not connected.
The pedal set up needs work. I have some spare cable and a spare part or 2. Sorry I don’t have the parts box in front of me.
Price is $14,500. + Shipping.
The pedal and the catalog in the pictures are not included.
PM if seriously interested for a more in-depth description with questions or for additional pictures. PM's will be answered in order recieved.
Not interested in trades.

Looks great in the pictures. A bit rich for my blood, though. Wow.
