I've been saying the same thing the last 4 years...
I would like to see Paul Franklin and Doug Jernigan do an Emmons/Rugg type video with the same setting !!!
Both of these players have a vast musical knowledge with the ability to pull off their musical thoughts, flawlessly
Who else would like to see?

I would like to see that type of video, too.

Scroll down to Super Jam XIX and see the photos of Tommy, Doug, and Paul jamming together. As far as I know, no one recorded that Jam.

I performed at the Nashville TSGA Super Jam last September.. Jernigan did his
set with Rick Vanaugh on drums and Rick Boyer on bass......Jernigan cranked it up
a few notches and two words kept coming to my mind....
THAT'S INSANE !!!!!!!!!
I'm sure glad I didn't have to play after him..HAHA

Hi
I agree, his playing gets better.
Never looks a day older whenever I see him either...

That video comes from Mike Ihde's The 333 Book. 333 licks, tricks and techniques every guitarist should know.
It is a great book for guitarist, but the real added bonus are all of the video segments that are included in the DVD with the book. Doug Jernigan, Buddy Emmons, Bobbe Seymore, Billy Robinson, and Mike Auldridge each have close to 20 min segments, where they talk about pedal steel.
There are also video segments with other great banjo, guitar, and bass players.
