Original Tune with steel and sax

Post by Chuck S. Lettes »

I've been listening to Wanda Jackson's new version of Shaking All Over, and I couldn't get the guitar lick out of my mind. So I did the easiest thing and wrote a tune based on the riff but then took it to a different direction. I'm using the C6th tuning on my Mullen and my King tenor sax. I love the sounds of steel/ sax.

I enjoyed listening to it! I can imagine how much work you invested in recording this.
I first heard that number by the German beat band "The Lords" when I was a boy.
Thanks!

Thanks, Joachim. Glad you're enjoying the music. I imagine that guitar lick inspired and continues to inspire many a guitarist.

Chuck,
Love the combination. Rather unique. You play both instruments so well.
