Johan, I really enjoyed listening. A real tight group for certain. Right on Top Shelf. Keep up the good work.

Best regards,
Don

Johan, that's very good and so enjoyable. Sure miss seeing Heather
on RFD anymore. Hope you have a very wonderful tour to Europe.

Johan, that was superb! The band was very well balanced for a great sound. Even if the lead player did more than his share, your steel came through with a beautiful tone and sound. You had it dialed in!
I love your style and tone!
More of that from the next gig please!

Johan...you sound wonderful my brother! Heather is pure and simply one of the best country singer/songwriters ever! Getting to play onstage with her is always inspirational!

Great playing Johan. Fantastic.
Anyone know what gear he's using?
The cameraman refuses to pan south.
Amp?

Hi Stuart, he (me :)uses a Derby pedalsteel (Hilton volumepedal, now and then a Goodrich MatchBro, through a Mesa Boogie (tuned) pre-amp straight into the mixingboard.
I used my session 400 LTD for monitoring my own sound.

This was in '99, 12 years ago. The band never met before. Bob Ryan, (Kevins Brother), is the regular guitarplayer from Heather, the bassplayer and drumm(st)er are from Great- Brittain. We all met a few hours before this live-performance, filmed for German TV in Frankfurt. We did a German tour, this TV-show was the start from that.
I found these recordings on youtube a month ago.
Later we did another tour with forumite Rick Schmidt on Bass. An ace-band!!!! Thanks all for the nice comments.
regards, Johan

I had never heard of Heather before; but I'm going to be getting some of her CDs for "Fathers' Day". I really like her voice and "up-tempo" approach. It has been a long time since I've been this impressed.
