Carmen's Boogie --------Spade Cooley

Post by Roger Shackelton »

This is an instrumental tune by Spade Cooley's orchestra that I don't recall hearing before.
Nice solo by Joaquin too. :)

Roger:
That was not Joaquin Murphy. It was Spade's Horn Band showcasing NOEL BOGGS. It was Noel's great phrasing playing on his A6th and E13th tunings on a Fender non-pedal Steel Guitar with that crisp tone and attack. (Trust Me)

THANKS BILLY, I should have known it wasn't Joaquin playing. The tone of the steel guitar wasn't typical of Joaquin's playing style. :)
