I play and sing this song a lot - it's one of my favorite examples of the "old Hank" sound. Thanks for posting your version. Sounds good!

It's great that you can sing and pick. It adds so much to the band when the steel player sings. I can't sing a lick but have tried!

Thanx alot I really enjoyed that. I have the top six strings (E6) of that tuning programmed into my line six variax and play it with a slide on my pinky then switch to guitar mode when I sing. Not quite Junior Brown yet but it really adds to the old Hank tunes and puzzles the audience. I can realy hear what I am missing by not having the two lower strings.
