Carl "Lucky" Kilmer playing "Soft Rain"

Post by Carl Kilmer »

OK friends, it's not great, but at least I gave it a try.

Thanks Bobby Reed, Rick Reed, Tommy Campbell and Mike Dunbar
for puting up with me, and covering up some of my mistakes.
Hope you like it, and may comment whether it's good or bad.
Thanks for watching it.

Thanks Larry, I'm glad you liked it. It wasn't perfect,
so I guess nobody really cared for all my mistakes.
I'll be playing at Joe Arveiws picnic next month. I hope.

Thanks Roger, I thought the sound was pretty good too.
I was only using my N112 amp and the Boss DD-20 delay.
I would've rather used the N1000 but it's too heavey
for me to cart around in my condition. :\

Hi Bill, many thanks, I sure appreciate your nice comments.
I don't know what kind of playing others may call it, but
for me it's country. I've spent the last 2 years trying to
learn to play again after my accident. I'm slowly getting it.
I'm too old to ever get as good as I was many years ago. :( :(

Thanks again my friends. Roger we all missed you at the show.
I didn't expect many would care for my playing on this song,
but I omly had a couple days to work it out before the snow.
Hopefully my next one will be better, it'll be on my new Ritt.

Hi John, Thank you my friend. I appreciate your nice comment.
It's been a long struggle learning to play the steel again,
but I'm dedicated and really spend a lot of time practicing.
I can't get back what I lost, but I will get as good as I can.
