MS Zelpha Ward has gone home

Post by Norma Jean Lucas »

I just received word from Brenda ( one of Zelpha's daughters) that Zelpha passed away today April 8th. They have to make arangements on getting her body back to Siloam Springs from Indianapolis. The funeral will be Saturday April 16 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs. I don't have all the details but will post when I know more. She was a very good friend of mine and the steel guitar world.

Mom just told me about Ms. Zelpha. I am so sad, I was thinking about her yesterday, and didn't realize she had passed away. She loved Ivan so much, and now she can be with him again. We will miss her.

Guess I'm not on this site as much as I used to be, so I am late in reading this sad news. Zelpha was a sweet, fine lady. She will be missed.
