Chuck,
A tremendous amount of effort goes into the organization of these events and I want to thank you for a great weekend in Northern Virginia. There was a lot of great music and everyone had a good time.
Thanks also to Mike Sweeney, who spent time Friday sharing knowledge. Now I have to put some of that knowledge into practise . . .

Just got back from the show and want to say, it was a great show. Thanks again to Chuck for inviting me to play. And thanks to Glenn Lanning for letting me try his beautiful Mullen universal on Sunday morning on the Gospel portion. What a nice guitar. First let me say that the staff band, who worked their fannys off both days, was second to none. I knew Jim Hartley (drums) and Alan Coldiron (bass) before, but I met Mark Moree (guitar) for the first time. Wow what a picker. I asked him if he knew a Beatles song I was going to play and he hummed the signature lick to me. You feel very comfortable playing with guys like that behind you. I was blown away with the number of talented players there are from the area. Mike Sweeney was very impressive as usual and Russ Hicks was superb on his new MSA Legend. Laney was the "Sweetheart" that she always is. And she sings great too. And along came Buddy Charleton to put a perfect end to a great event. If you didn't make it to the show, you missed it. Sorry about your luck. It was great. It was nice to meet some of the guys from here on the forum too. Ken Latchum, Ray Walker, Dave VanAllen, just to name a few. I hope to do it again next year.

I want to thank Chuck and Shirley for another great weekend and a Wonderful Show.
I also want to thank Chuck for inviting me to play a small part in assisting him by helping out with the MC work. Chuck knows I like to run my mouth so he decided to put it to work. Thanks Chuck. What A Show, What a Back up Band -2nd to none!. Steel music at it greatest. What a steelguitar family. Everyone was so nice and nothing but praise and encouragment from everyone.
If you missed this one and you live in the area and could have made this show, you really lost out. You will just have to wait another year!
Thank you to everyone that played a part or participated in this great event. I hope to see everyone next year at Chuck's event
