Hey Robert, I really appreciate it. It works for me. Great classic sounding steel on this clip.

Ricky – Listening to “A Girl in the Night” again I think BE is doing this. He’s not blocking at the 11th fret. He is picking 9-7-6 at the 11th fret and sliding quickly up to the 13th fret and immediately picking the 7th & 6th strings while the 9th string he picked at the 11th fret is now sustaining at the 13th fret. He is not picking the 9th string at the 13th fret. You hear the 9th string at the 13th fret as an overtone mixed in with the two picked notes. This is classic BE: strong melodies, tone, sustain, overtones and always adding in the Dominant 7th harmonies.

E9 Tuning Key of Bb
(11) = Note is sustained from previous note
8- = Note is slid into next note
11- 13 = Note is picked at 11th fret then slid to 13th fret and picked at 13th fret
11- (13) = Note is picked and slid to the next fret where it sustains
