Hey Everybody

Post by Justin Cormier »

Hi everybody... Just wanted to introduce myself to everybody here on the forum. My name is Justin Cormier I'm 22 years old and I'm from Crowley, Louisiana. I've been playing steel guitar for about 7 years now. All I know is the Cajun open tuning stuff so far but I'm starting to get into more E9th stuff. Murnel, Richard, and Joe are friends of mine and recently I had the privilege of recording some fiddle and accordion tracks on some of their new CD. Anyway, I'm looking forward to making some new friends and learning some new stuff om the forum.

Welcome Justin! Always good to see new blood here and having machinist skills works well with owning a pedal steel guitar.

Welcome Brotha! At 65, I'm always pleased to see younger guys getting involved with steel! Of course, being a guitar player, I've never matured much past 22 myself! Not sure if I've even managed to get to 22!

Welcome Justin, I have learned alot from others here on the forum. Bunch of great guys here always willing to share the knowledge. Wish we would have had the internet 35 years ago when I was trying to learn the E9th stuff. Take care....Ricky T.
