Short people got nobody...short people got no reason to live...HA!
Heard this all my life.
I am 5'6" tall with short legs. I hope the guitar builders think ahead a little and bring some 1" under legs and rods so short people can get an idea of what thier guitar will feel like played at our proper height.
All the guitar at the show are too tall for me to play.
Carter always had one or two guitar under height for me to play. That is why I bought 3 new Carters at the show.
This may not be in the right section. If not you can move it.

I have the same problem with set ups at the show,,,I play universal set up exactly like Jeff Newman,,,Day set up with Es on right knee,,,you'd think Jeff set up would be fairly standard,,,but,,,alas,,there is no standard in PSG,,,,,have to live with and make the most,,,be like Johnny Cox,,,or Reece,,,play ANY tuning,,,LOL

At least vertically challenged players can get under the guitars. I have the opposite problem, I have to raise all my guitars 1 1/2" - 2", so I can't play the show guitars either.

At a lean mean 5'7", Laughing
I'm in between, 1" shorter, and standard (26"??), but I've decided to extend the Levers a little bit.

I am by far, no mechanical type of guy, but is there a reason that the legs could not be made simular to mic stands that are adjustable and a turnbuckle type ajustment for pedal rods to adjust length? This way, perhaps each player could adjust the steel for their particular comfort?

I wonder if they're building 'em closer to the floor? I can't get under a Zum (I'm 6'5"), and unfortunately, can't get under my new Desert Rose, either.
