I have a custom MSA 14 string with a crossbar setup. I've never seen one like it except some that Zane Beck buit before he died. Does anyone know anything about it.

I'm not having any luck uploading the pictures. I must be stuck on stupid. You can see them on ebay. I was able to upload them there.

It's under musical instruments/other/pedal steel guitar. I don't know why I'm having trouble uploading them here. I appreciate any help you can give me.

That's the one. It's sold now but not because I wanted to. I'd still like to find out more about it because it was such a great guitar. I wish I could have kept it.

I do know one thing, this is a Pre ..mas/Micro guitar, make it 69 or 70 maybe 71 ... :D

Mine was purchased in 71. I think at that time there were only two models, this one, and the Imperial(if memory serves correctly)The Imperial may have been the first MSA with crossrods.

Bill,
The Imperial was a guitar that my dad built while at mas, pretty sure it had cross rods...not a lot of them built, I believe it was 72 or 73 when Micro got in the picture...
