2 String E-bow Steel Solo
I am using a 2 string E-bow on this rendition of a Christmas song "What Child is This".

I have a two string Ebow, but it looks a little different than yours. Mine is chrome all the way around except for the bottom section. I did not know that there was more than one model for the two string job.
Nice version of the Christmas tune.
I use the same technique except I play single notes on the bottom instead of strumming.

Tom, it is actually the same model as yours. My aluminum cover had a crack in it and I covered it with black tape to keep it tight.
I wonder how many of these TWO STRINGS model were actually made and who else has one and uses it. I have about two or three other songs that I use it on.
Thanks Jack for the kind words.

Only 200 were made, and 15 of those were defective and not sold. I have one that used to belong to Winnie Winston.Albert Svenddal wrote:

This is very clever
So what is the string spacing on the two string ebow?

Re: This is very clever
It sits on 2 strings that are 5 strings apart, and activates the 2 nearest the legs. Typically, it sits on strings 3 and 7, and activates 4 and 6.David Hartley wrote:So what is the string spacing on the two string ebow?
