Is it a good idea to lube the pegs of the tuners to make them smoother to adjust or not? _________________ Dennis

I've never had to lubricate any of the tuners on any of my guitars ever. If you have good tuners, this should not be needed. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

The old Kluson tuners, like the ones used on Stringmasters and Valcos, need a bit of lubrication periodically. |

Thanks guys. I have a friend with several acoustic guitars who does lubricate the tuner shafts every time he changes strings. Says it works for him. I don't have a need to do it but I was curious if it was common practise or not. _________________ Dennis
