It covers the C6th tuning, pedals, intros, endings, fills, licks and several complete songs. I wish that I would have had something like this when I first started trying to learn the C6th steel.

We teach these licks, intros and songs played by great Western Swing and C6th players like Curly Chalker, Buddy Emmons, Bob White, John Hughey and others. It just doesn't get any easier than learning from this DVD.

Terry, I just received the DVD, Nashville C-6 and Western Swing, and I have to give honest feedback:

You failed to mention that you are teaching C-6 on a B-6 UNIVERSAL 12 string guitar. The strings are different. The frets are different.

I don't want my money back, but I think you should make it clear that this instruction is done on a Universal tuning, so there are no surprises.

Hi Darrell,

The tuning used for the steel guitar is the same setup as C6th. Your pedals and the strings are used as the same for C6th.

I talk you the student, through each lick and chord and pedal change.

It is not taught as a Universal tuning.
