Came across a 15-inch SICA Neo Premium Lite like the ones Ken Fox & others have been raving about and decided to try a little experiment in my Vibrasonic that I wasn't really using. Man, that Neo is a much better match for that amp than the stock Eminence/Fender.
Gone are the shrill, piercing highs. And the low-end is now tight & punchy. The amp really shed some pounds in the shlepping department also. Overall tone is clean - but warm. I've always favored the smallest Fender amp that I can get away with at a gig, but the Vibrasonic has now become my amp of choice for every gig.
Bill Flores told me over a year ago that this was what I should do to this amp - but I was kind of a curmudgeon about the whole Neodymium magnet thing, so I blew it off. Yeah, that was smart.
Neo SICA Speakers - I'm a believer!

I second that emotion..
I've tried lots of speakers over the years and never found anything better than a JBL D130f until I tried
one of these SICA 15s. Very smooth, not harsh on the high end and the mids and bottom are much tighter and clearer than the D130. I can get much louder with this speaker without breakup. I play thru a '70 twin reverb
and just love this new speaker. My 2 cents.

neo 15
Same here with my Vibrasonic so much better ..
I appreciate the comments! You guys nailed it on the head with the description. That is what I found when I first started using them in the new steel amp. Everyone seems very pleased so far.
At 7lbs and 6 ounces it sure takes a load off an amp! The speaker in the new Steel King is almost 24 pounds. A Peavey BW is 17 pounds. What a difference it makes in weight and tone.
Thanks again for your comments
I see someone on eBay is also offering the SICA speakers. Keep in mind we ship freight free to the lower 48 states, they do not.
