I saw that on e-bay and wondered the same thing. Maybe an early attempt at building a steel before he made the Nashville/ Sho-Bud move?? Just a guess.

It looks a bit "crude".... I don't think Paul Sr. would put his name on a guitar like that one....JH in Va.

I agree with David parts and pieces and Ben Franklin, Charley Franklin, Heney or whatever
