It's official! Eleven Years On Steel

Post by Brett Day »

Hey y'all!
I wasn't sure where to put this, but it's now my eleventh year on steel! Eleven years ago, I first sat down behind my favorite instrument-the steel guitar, picked up a steel guitar bar, and played steel for the first time, even with cerebral palsy in my left hand and I still love it today!

Time sure flie's.
Well, just keep on doing what your doing and before to long, you'll be blowing that ole' Tommy Dodd off the bandstand. Watch him close, he'll be steelin' your hot licks from you. Take care.........

Brett, I remember your first few posts. It doesn't seem that long ago, but eleven years go by very fast. Keep pick'n. :)

Bret,

Congratulations!! You've come a long way since I first met you and your family(we had lunch together with Dennis Manuel) in St. Louis( I can't remember the exact year but probably 2002 or 2003). I enjoy watching your YouTube video's from time to time and it's great to see your constant improvements. All the best to you and your family in 2011.
