A wraparound

Post by Peter Freiberger »

Here's something that just came up on YouTube. Marty Robbins' steel player is on a wraparound.

And Connie Smith with Weldon Myrick from the same film. Weldon's guitar also looks like an early model. I can't tell if it's a wraparound, but I think it's not.

During the second Connie Smith song camera closes in on the steel player and it looks as if it is a wrap!!

Thanks Danny.
Dickie Harris - I guess he played for a while with Mr. Tubb... not too much information out there about him. I'll dig around a bit more.

I really enjoyed seeing these clips too!
