My first posting
Hello all
This is my first posting to this wonderful site. I am from a small town east of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and I found this video of Michael Nesmith singing his tune Joanne. It features Red Rhodes on PSG and I thought it would be great to share this video with everyone on this site.

Ronald, Welcome to this great site!
Is that Mike Nesmith of the Monkees?
Tasteful playing by Red Rhodes.

Yes, Bent, that's the same Mike (Michael) Nesmith that was in the Monkees. He's made a number of fine recordings, most with Red Rhodes on pedal steel (Weldon Myrick played on FROM A RADIO ENGINE TO THE PHOTON WING).
This clip is from LIVE AT THE BRITT, and sadly Red left us not long after this concert. The whole date is generally relaxed, but perhaps doesn't feature Red as much as we would have liked. But the playing and sound are both great.
Mike even tried his hand at pedal steel with the Monkees on HEADQUARTERS.
